As an ARPA-H Budget Financial Manager Junior, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing financial resources to support groundbreaking projects that have the potential to transform healthcare and save lives. SD Solutions is seeking a capable Junior Budget Financial Manager who can learn to navigate the requirements, policies, and regulations that govern funding to make sure critical efforts aligned to Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation RDT&E, and other Research and Development R&D related analytical services


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business related field
  • 2+ years professional experience
  • High proficiency level with MS Office Suite including Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including reports and presentations.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative, and diverse environment.
  • Ability to build and manage client relationships at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Senior Budget Financial Manager using laws, regulations, and policies to help the client develop well-formed requirements.
  • Assist team to develop cost models and conduct budget analysis to inform solution development or analysis of alternatives.
  • Assist in schedule of coordination, conference room coordination, booking teleconference lines.
  • Provide input to high-quality deliverables with minimal direct oversight.
  • Study the creation of a financial management strategy.
  • Analyze data from reports using Business Objects.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis against datasets using Microsoft Excel or Power BI to identify Mission Support costs.
  • Support a cross-functional team to create and deploy Power BI visualizations
  • Additional duties as assigned.
